"The Art of Fashion" Fashion Show / Fundraiser to Support Breast Cancer Awareness

Hello Everyone,

My name is Gregory Mack, I'm a custom clothing designer who recently opened a fashion show room in Downtown Asbury Park NJ. I would like to invite you to “The Art of Fashion” Fashion Show/Fundraiser to Support Breast Cancer Awareness

My oldest sister Cynthia who taught me all about the sewing machine and how to sew, passed away 6years ago from breast cancer. And my wife's mother also passed away from cancer. So this fashion show is dedicated to them and all of your loved ones or people that you know who might have passed away from the same or might have breast cancer/cancer as we speak. I loved my sister unconditionally so much and my wife loved her mom unconditionally so much that we named our 7 month old daughter after them. Breast cancer/cancer is a very serious matter, awareness and early detection is very important.

Michelle Obama and becoming an fashion Icon.

By: Chimore Mack.

One of the most talented people and also the most fashionable First Ladies after Jackie Kennedy,is Michelle Obama and she always has a nice outfit on; from her famous J. Crew dress to the Chicagoian designer Maria Pinto dress that she had worn at the election.

She always has inspired me to have an high low wardrobe. She's smart, beautiful and also she has that charismatic attitude that most women feel that she's such an influence on them. With that i feel she's an fashion icon like Marilyn Monroe, Rihanna, Jackie Kennedy, Sienna Miller, Aaliyah and others.

Her clothes do not make her, she makes her clothes remarkable and memorable. That's why I like her so much because of the simple fact that she doesn't dress like everyone else, she has her own style. I always feel that in order to become a fashion icon, although people always repeat certain stlyes and designs, you always have to be the one standing out.

Even though I didn't win for Most Unique in High School, I always had my own style. While everyone was wearing Jordans, Nikes and Polos, I was wearing Clavin Klein, New York & Company and Old Navy shoes along with a friend that used to make jean bags for me.

This is why Michelle Obama is one of my favorite fashion icons. I changed my style every year, last year it was the Levis, Keds, The Sweetheart Jeans from Old Navy as well as their shirts; now I'm trying to change it up with dresses, capes and flats.

In order to have the title of a fashion icon it's not about how much an outfit costs it's about how much personality you put in your clothes. It's the way you wear the clothes, even if it's worn out rags, if you make it look sexy in your own way. That will make people look at you of becoming unique and not caring of what people say about you.

The Year is Winding Down

Hello everyone,

The year is winding down, after Christmas next week this year will basically be over. I must say that I've been very blessed this year, I've met so many wonderful people through my travels. The fashion shows and photo shoots that I've done this year have been amazing along with the new addition to my family that will be here on Dec 29th Baby Mack (lol). I have so much to be thankful for, God has truly blessed me and my family. I recently opened a New Fashion Showroom in Asbury Park, NJ by the Jersey Shore in January of this year and it has been great. From the photographers, make up artist, hairstylists and models that have been to my showroom along with my clients, you know I couldn't forget you guys, you have made my show room a big success. I'm in the process of planning a fashion show in AsburyPark, NJ for February 09' and you all are invited . .. ... I will post further details about the fashion show on here and my website as well. I will also have it where you can purchase tickets from here and my website as well. Enjoy the holidays and have a safe New Year if I don't see you, but always remember to keep GOD first in all that you do and he'll see to it that all your dreams come true.
